SMALL ROSENBERG, PH.D.
Dr.
Rosenberg is a clinical psychologist in private practice. The focus
of her practice is psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, psychodiagnosis and consultation.
Her clients include individuals, families and couples. Her areas
of interest include psychoanalytic theory, individual psychotherapy,
group psychotherapy, family therapy, masculine and feminine sex-roles,
women's issues, diabetes and adjustment to chronic illness, and
eating disorders.
In over 30 years of private practice, Dr. Rosenberg has worked with a broad

Experiences
In
addition to her private practice, Dr. Rosenberg has enjoyed affiliations
in the following programs:
- 16
years at Northwestern University Counseling and Psychological
Services, where she supervised psychology trainees, presented
at and participated in case conferences, provided short-term psychotherapy
to students, provided outreach services and led an eating disorders
group.
- Over 25 years at Northwestern University Medical School, where she has supervised and taught psychology and psychiatry interns and residents and psychology graduate students in individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
Education
and Honors
Dr.
Rosenberg has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University
Medical School. Her undergraduate degree was in Psychology from
the University of Illinois in Urbana, where she graduated Magna
Cum Laude and was a Phi Beta Kappa. She was the 1974 recipient of
the Outstanding Student Award from the Department of Psychiatry,
Northwestern University Medical School and the 1971-72 recipient
of a Northwestern University Graduate Fellowship. Currently, Dr. Rosenberg is studying to be a psychoanalyst as a candidate at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis.
